Hey, re: blogger and pics, I have discovered a website called slide.com that allows you to relatively easily upload batches of photos and then gives you the html code to paste into your blog, inserting a slideshow into your posting. You can see some on my blog -

And by the way, congratulations on the FDai job -- I just read that linked article and it seems to be describing my LIFE!!!
Thanks, Christie, I'll check that site out. Actually, I was doing that before with Photobucket, but when I insert those into this blog, the pictures are partially cut off on the edges until you click them to view the full-sized version.
As for the article: Have hope! I had just about given up... For me, I think it was having lots of publications and presentations, and getting to know a lot of people through conferences, and then getting my current 2-year job at KU.
